What we collect
Information you type into our form
When you complete the consultation or cost-guide form, we receive exactly these fields:
- Your name, phone number and email address.
- Whether you own a lot, where you want to build, your target budget range, and your timeline.
- Anything you choose to write in the free-text message box.
- Which offer you asked for — a consultation, or the cost guide.
We use this for one purpose: to work out whether we are the right builder for your project and to reply to you. Answering the form is the request; the reply is the service.
Advertising identifiers
If you reached us by clicking a Google ad, your browser carries a click identifier in the address (gclid, wbraid or gbraid), and sometimes campaign tags (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_term, utm_content). We store these in a first-party cookie and in your browser's local storage, and we attach them to your enquiry if you submit the form.
This is how we find out which adverts produce real customers rather than just clicks. A custom home takes ten to eighteen months from first click to signed contract, so we keep the identifier for 90 days in the cookie. If you never submit the form, it is never connected to a name.
Analytics and remarketing
We use Google Ads and Google Analytics to measure our advertising and, where you have consented, to show our adverts to people who have visited this site. These tools set their own cookies and receive your IP address and general device information. You can opt out of personalised Google advertising at adssettings.google.com, and you can block or delete cookies in your browser at any time. Blocking them does not stop you using this site or contacting us.
When you submit the form we may send Google a hashed (irreversibly scrambled) version of your email address and phone number so that a conversion can be matched to an ad click. Google does not receive them in a readable form from us.
What we do NOT do
- We do not sell your information. Ever. To anyone.
- We do not rent, trade or share your details with other builders, realtors or lead brokers.
- We do not add you to a marketing list you did not ask for.
Your details are handled by Spartan Homes staff and by the service providers who run the plumbing. When you submit a form, your answers are transmitted over an encrypted connection to a form-relay service we operate on Cloudflare Workers (Cloudflare, Inc.), which forwards the submission to us by email. Cloudflare processes the data in transit on our behalf. Our website host, our email provider and our construction-management software also handle it. They all act on our instructions and for no other purpose.
How long we keep it
Advertising identifiers: 90 days in your browser. Enquiries that do not become projects: we delete them within 24 months. If you become a client, your records are kept for as long as we are required to keep construction and warranty records — our structural warranty runs ten years, so project records are kept at least that long.
Your choices
Write to us and we will act on it. You can ask us to send you a copy of what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it entirely. You can tell us to stop contacting you, and we will stop. Under the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act you may also appeal a refusal, though we would rather just say yes.

Children
This site is for people buying a house. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

If we change how we handle your information, we will change this page and update the date at the top of it.
